We begin our first day with a full breakfast at the hotel, we will then depart to visit the city of Ourzazte passing through Taroudant, a beautiful walled city similar to Marrakech but smaller. Then we will continue to the capital of “Saffron” the city of Taliouine. Taliouine saffron is considered to be one of the best \u00a0for its quality and aroma. At dusk we will arrive at \u201cthe door of the desert\u201d, in the city of Ourzazate where we will settle into our accommodation and have dinner. This route is 222 miles.<\/p>\n
Day two starts with breakfast at the hotel in Ourzazate and then we will depart to first visit the Kasbah Taurirt, the former harem-residence of the Marrakech Pacha. Then we will continue along the route of the kasbas (adobe and wooden fortresses). We will visit the impressive gorges of the Todra river, one of the most extraordinary Natural wonders of the world. Through erosion the Todra River has built a narrow gorge with vertical walls over 985 feet high, a true spectacle of nature. After crossing this impressive gorge we will arrive at Erfoud. In Erfoud we will visit a fossil extraction center, testimony of the incredible aquatic life that existed in this place millions of years ago. At the end of the visit we will continue towards Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi desert. As soon as we arrive we will ride some dromedaries and our guide will take us to see the most impressive show in the desert: the sunset from the dunes. After this unforgettable experience we will return to our place of accommodation and have dinner. You have the option to choose between staying in a hotel “Kasbah” (a traditional adobe architecture) or “jaimas” (a Berber-style tent) under the starry night sky with all of its comforts. This journey is 226 miles.<\/p>\n
Today we have the opportunity to see the sunrise show: yes, you have to get up very early but we highly recommend it. Our guide will take you to see this wonderful desert sunrise show mounted on the backs of dromedaries. Afterwards we will return to the camp, have breakfast and prepare to start the journey towards the Rissani Palm Grove. Rissani Palm Grove is well known for its history and its beauty as well as it’s many interesting monuments. We will then continue our way to Alnif. On the way we can see herds of wild dromedaries. Later we will pass through Agdez and Ourzazate also known as the Pearl of the South where we will have dinner and accommodation. You can choose to stay in a Riad (traditional Arab house) or in a hotel. This route is 228 miles.<\/p>\n
On day four, we will have breakfast at the hotel and head back to Agadir by the same route. Once we have our arrival in Agadir, we will relax into our accommodation and enjoy dinner.<\/p>\n
