This tour starts in Fes and ends in Marrakech. The tour can be changed depending on the airport chosen for departure. The tour includes three nights in Fes, one night in the Merzouga desert, one night in Ourzazate and two nights in Marrakech.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival at Fes airport<\/strong> you will be assisted on your transfer from Fes airport to the hotel<\/strong>. Once there you can enjoy a Hammam-spa session or a private guided tour of Fes<\/strong> depending on the time of arrival. You can then enjoy dinner and full accommodation.<\/p>\n After breakfast on this day, we will goo sightseeing the City of Fes<\/strong>. Our Fes local tour guide<\/strong> will pick you up from your accommodation and take you for a walk to discover the most exotic corners of this charming city. You will be sure to see the golden doors of the Royal Palace, the old Medina, the Medrasa El Bou Anania, the Nejjarin fountain and the Karaouine Mosque. This is one of the main cultural centers of Islam and home to the University of Fes as well as the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Of course we are not going to forget the Jewish quarter of Fes<\/strong>, the tanners quarter and the neighborhoods of artisan guilds. Lunch will be provided on this day.\u00a0 At the end of the evening, dinner and then accommodation.<\/p>\n We will have breakfast at the hotel and soon after depart for Chaouen through the fertile valleys of the Rif. Upon arrival we will take a private guided tour of Chaouen<\/strong>, the old Medina, Ras Elma and other places of interest. We will then return to Fes to our accommodation and have dinner. It is a 422 km (262-miles) excursion in total.<\/p>\n We begin day four with breakfast at the Hotel and then depart to the beautiful city of Ifrane. We will cross the cedar forests until we reach the city of Midelt where we will stop for lunch. Then we will continue to Errachidia and Erfoud, the \u00a0door to the desert. Upon arrival in the Erg Chebbi desert of Merzouga we will have a dromedaries ride to see the most impressive spectacle in the desert: The sunset in the desert dunes<\/strong>. After this unforgettable experience we will return to our place of accommodation and have dinner. You have the option to choose between staying \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>in a hotel-kasbah (unique hotel in the traditional adobe style) or jaimas (traditional Berber tent) under the starry sky with all its comforts. This route is 476 km (295-miles).<\/p>\n On this day you will have the opportunity to see the sunrise in the\u00a0 desert<\/strong> (this is optional) given that you must get up very early. We highly recommend it. To see this spectacular sunrise in the desert <\/strong>\u00a0, we will go on the backs of the dromedaries. Upon returning to the camp we will have breakfast and prepare to start our journey towards the Rissani Palm Grove. This is an ancient commercial city and the cradle of the current royal dynasty. Then we will continue our route to one of the most beautiful landscapes of the entire trip: The Gorges of Todra. We will stop for lunch and then continue our way to Ourzazate through the route of the Kasbahs. These are a series of adobe fortresses. Once we reach the Pearl of the Desert: Ourzazate, we will have Dinner and accommodation. This route is 370 km (229-miles).<\/p>\n We begin this day with breakfast in Ouarzazate, then with a private expert tour guide we will visit Kasbah Taourirt, the former residence and harem of the Marrakech Pasha. Then we will continue to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is a world heritage site. Lunch will be provided on this day as we continue to make our trip towards Marrakech. We will then have dinner and accommodation. Hotel or Riad, depending on your preference. This route is 213 km (132-miles).<\/p>\n After breakfast we will have a private guided tour of Marrakech through it’s Menara Gardens, La Koutoubia Mosque (only exterior for non-Muslims), Bahia Palace, Jemaa El Fna Square, the old Medina, the Jewish quarter of Marrakech and the Majorelle Gardens. Accommodation at the hotel or Riad.<\/p>\n We will have breakfast and then enjoy some leisure time, hammam & spa or a private guided city tour in Marrakech , (this is optional and dependent on the time you have until your transfer to the Marrakech airport<\/strong>).
