Visit of Marrakech and a short getaway to the Sahara desert in 6 days and 5 nights: two nights in Marrakech, one night in Tinghir, one night in the Merzouga desert and one night in Ourzazate.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival at the Marrakech airport you will receive assistance on the transfer from Marrakech airport<\/strong> to the hotel or riad. You can enjoy some leisure time, a Hammam & spa session or a private city tour of Marrakech<\/strong> (optional and dependent on your arrival time) You can then enjoy dinner and settle into your accommodation.<\/p>\n Day two begins with breakfast at the hotel and soon after the fun will begin when we depart to visit the High Atlas mountains via the impressive Tizi Ntichka pass until we reach Ourzazate where we will stop for lunch. Then we will continue to Alkal\u00e1 of the Mguna where a species of rose with an excellent aroma is grown. It is there where our extraordinary journey truly begins. Visiting the route of the kasbahs, the fortified towns built with adobes is captivating because of the strength of its contrasts, for its luminosity and its silence. It is one of the most attractive areas to visit in\u00a0 Morocco. In the evening we will arrive at Tinghir. We will settle into our accommodation and have dinner. This route is 363 km (225 miles).<\/p>\n Day three starts with a full breakfast and soon after we will depart to one of the most extraordinary places that nature has created, the Todra Gorges. Through erosion the Todra River has built a narrow gorge with vertical walls over 300 m high (984 feet). Visiting the Todra Gorges is a true spectacle of nature to behold. After crossing this impressive gorge we will arrive at Erfoud: the door of the desert. We will visit a fossil extraction center in Erfoud, testimony to an incredible aquatic life that existed in this place millions of years ago. From Erfoud we will continue towards Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi desert<\/strong>. As soon as we get there we will ride a dromedary and our Berber guide will take you to see the most impressive spectacle of the desert: the sunset in the desert of Sahara<\/strong>. After this unforgettable experience we will return to our place of accommodation and have dinner. You have the option to choose between staying in a hotel-kasbah (a unique hotel in the traditional adobe style) or jaimas (a traditional Berber tent) under the starry night sky with all of its comforts. This journey is 200 km (124 miles).<\/p>\n Today you have the opportunity to see the sunrise in the desert of Sahara<\/strong>: yes, you have to get up very early but we highly recommend it. Our expert guide will take you to see this wonderful desert sunrise show in the dunes mounted on dromedaries. Afterwards we will return to the camp to enjoy breakfast and prepare to start the journey towards the Rissani Palm Grove. The Rissani Palm Grove is well known for its history and its beauty, we will visit several of it’s many interesting monuments. We will then continue to make our way to Al Nif. On the way we can see herds of wild dromedaries. We will pass through Agdez and later we will arrive at Ourzazate, also known as the \u201cPearl of the South\u201d. We will have dinner and accommodation. You can choose between staying in a riad or hotel. This route is 370 km (229miles).<\/p>\n We begin with breakfast in Ouarzazate on this day and then visit with a local tour\u00a0 guide \u00a0the Kasbah Taurirt, the former residence and harem of the Pach\u00e1 of Marrakech. Then we continue to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a World Heritage Site where we will enjoy a lunch before to continue to Marrakech. Arrival at the accommodation of a Hotel or riad, depending on your preference.
